Saturday Snapshots Week Eight
As you are reading this, I am โon the road againโ, maybe still in Mississippi, but heading toward Texas. Sunday will be spent at the worldโs largest flea market. Hoping for good weather. This place is huge so I wonder how much we will see. And buy.
I love starting a trip with a clean car โ 423 Details, a local shop, has this looking like new.
Today is Derby Day โ well, everyday is Derby Day at my house โ my Shih Tzu is named Derby. But itโs also the Run for the Roses. I need to find a TV to watch. Itโs something I havenโt missed too many times.
A few of the places we will visit includes Tyler, Waco, San Antonio, Austin and Frisco. You need to follow along on my FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM for lots of fun pictures.
ICYMI this week:
A recent trip to Atlanta included the COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME and GEORGIA AQUARIUM. Both are great family friendly places. We as adults enjoyed it too.
This HOT CHICKEN SALAD is a family favorite from a favorite Aunt. Itโs great to serve hot or room temperature as an entree or on sandwiches.
Iโve got a variety of blogs to share with you this week, a few would make great Mothers Day gift ideas.

Can you believe itโs Saturday Snapshots Week Eight? Are you enjoying all the new ideas?
Let me know your favorite things to see and do in Texas, I might have to add them to my agenda.
Hope you have a wonderful week. See you next Saturday from Austin. Are you signed up for my emails? This lets you know when a new post is made.
Iโve included affiliate links to Amazon for you to find some products easier. I may receive a small commission, but the price is the same for you. It just helps my blog out.
Happy Travels,
Rosemary
Enjoy your time in Texas! Round top and Magnolia Table are on my bucket list. We also have a hot chicken salad recipe from a favorite aunt, but uses cream soup instead of broth. Iโm going to give your recipe a try as it sounds lighter, which is great for summertime.
I think if you try the broth, it won’t be as heavy or casseroley tasting. Not sure that’s a word. We visited Round Top once and Junk Gypsy’s but not during a sale time. Would love to do that one of these days. Magnolia Table was great and hope we can get in. They now have a new coffee shop at the silos I’ve not been too.
Happy Saturday! Thank you so much for including my Mother’s Day printables this week.
Always – you always have ideas everyone loves.
I found several helpful links this week like the one on cleaning using the FLy Lady system. Also thanks for including me…organic garden at bushel and a pickle.
I am finding lots of new and great ideas too.
Have fun. It’s a great post.
We are in Waco now doing fun stuff – more to come.
Hopefully you had a great trip and found goodies at the flea market. A clean car for a road trip is a must.
Cindy
I found a few things, including a wicker head board, but had to pass on that. That place is huge. My poor, clean car got so many bugs on it the first night – it looked sad.
Hope you are having a great road trip! Round Top is on my bucket list ๐
We went to Round Top but not during the sale, that’s on my list too.
So many wonderful items in this post! Thanks for sharing them all!
I love finding so many new blogs to share.
Enjoy your visits in Texas. Round Top should be on everyone’s bucket list. It is amazing.
Been there but not during a sale – #bucketlist.
