Crock Pot Meatballs and Gravy
Are you looking for a hearty but simple meal? This Crock Pot Meatballs and Gravy recipe is exactly what you need. Why not let your Crock Pot take over and do all the hard work while you get to put your feet up for a while and relax?
Iโm a huge fan of meatballs so this recipe is always at the top of my list. I just canโt help but crave that flavor and gravy combination. We make this a lot during the winter months but itโs so good at any time of the year. Plus, using the Crock Pot makes it a total breeze, too!
Why do my meatballs fall apart?
If youโre noticing that your meatballs are a bit crumbly and arenโt holding together as you want, you need to make certain that youโre using the right amount of breadcrumbs. Those are what holds them all together.
Yes, if you donโt have something as a binder in your meatballs to hold the ingredients together, they will fall apart during the cooking process. Some people also use bread that they have at home and just tear it into pieces to add to the meat mixture.
How do you keep meatballs moist?
Nobody likes dried out meatballs so keeping them moist is key. The added egg in this recipe is the addition that helps keep the meatballs tasty and juicy.
Why are my meatballs tough?
The easiest way to get them not to be hard and tough is to have an egg added in. This way they donโt dry out as they cook which is what is making them tough and hard.
