Saturday Snapshots Week Twenty Four
Good morning from the beautiful town of Johnson City, TN โ home to East Tennessee State University for Saturday Snapshots Week Twenty Four. Iโm attending a travel bloggers photo retreat so you will see lots of pictures of local places. I have never explored the Eastern part of Tennessee too much but know I will be back.
The weather is perfect for a great Labor Day Weekend in the mountains of Tennessee. Whatโs your plans?
There will be a few new things changing around on the blog the upcoming weeks so make sure you follow along for those.
Iโm busy planning a 10 day trip through Pennsylvania at the end of this month. New places to see and explore. I have never been to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, or Gettysburg. Well Philly I saw through a train window going by.
One place Iโm excited about touring also is the iconic Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright. Whoโs been?

I so much enjoyed seeing Fallingwater. I saw it when snow was on the ground and would love to see it in spring, summer, and fall.
I can’t wait to see it. I wish for a little fall color, but probably still too early. We have a FLW home here in Chattanooga still owned by the original family. Working on a story about it.
Oh, thank you so much, Rosemary, for including my charcuterie board! I am loving so many things on this post. I think I may wander down that pumpkin spice bunny hole for a while! And I am pinning that soup to try later. Can’t wait! Hope you have had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
Thank you. I was actually gone all weekend on a travel trip to Johnson City TN – a town I had never explored.
