*** CONTEST CLOSED.  DB – winner has been chosen by random draw and notified.   I am so excited to have Vintage Market Days coming to Chattanooga. This is a very unique market and nothing has been held here like it until now. Vintage Market Days has provided me with a pair of tickets to give away for this event. Details below on how to enter.

Vintage Market Days® is an upscale vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, food and treats, seasonal plantings and a little more.

Vintage Market Days® events are so much more than a flea market.   It’s also been named by Country Living as one of the top must attend barn sales and flea markets.

You can find a complete listing of all shows HERE to include cities such as Knoxville, Augusta, Huntsville, and Atlanta. They are not limited to the Southern area though. I even noticed one in Austin, Texas area in mid-May so I may have to check that one out too.

When I attended VMD in Knoxville last fall, I found a good mix of home decor which was antique or vintage inspired. Lots of rustic, or rustic look, along with distressed furniture. There was also several vendors with plants and planters.

I purchased a Rosemary topiary and am very pleased to announce, it is still alive. The vendor was great about giving me tips for keeping it thriving, and this is actually an accomplishment for me as you know I have very little luck with indoor plants.

All of the vendors are very friendly and loved to share details on the history of the item, how they make it, or how to use it in your home. Even a lot of vintage inspired clothing can be found.

Don’t forget about all of the upcoming holidays and events you are going to need gifts for and maybe some new decor. I would love someone to do a little Mother’s Day shopping for me.

Food vendors will also be there so you can enjoy the whole day.

I’m very excited for this to come to Chattanooga. I would really love to go. We are remodeling our home and are looking for some cute vintage and antique items to really brighten it up or to add some character. I’m hoping to win some free tickets and take my daughter with me!

This will be a great place to shop. Have you been to Vinterest also? They are opening another location downtown.

Thanks for stopping by as we talk all things home and travel. I was doing “DIY” before it was the thing to do. I was born in a big city and lived on farms growing up in small towns. Now I live in what some would consider a moderately big city. I still enjoy the common things associated with a home, mainly cooking and decorating, but always make time for travel. Maybe it’s finding something fun in my hometown, or exploring new places on a road trip or cruise. Please pull up a chair, have a cup of coffee, and let’s talk about it. Read more
