The flavor of the peaches really takes this simple margarita recipe over the top. I love filling my margarita class full of this tasty beverage and sitting on the patio watching the sunset.

Be certain to make this Refreshing Creamy Margarita Recipe as well because you can never have too many delicious cocktail recipes ready to go.

The Most Delicious Frozen Peach Margarita

I’ve never met a margarita I didn’t like. I say this fully knowing that there are still many more flavors out there to try as well. I’ve made it a bit of a habit to try margaritas in the various towns that we visit and I always love getting to try out new flavors and tastes.

But who would have thought that one of my favorite margarita recipes was one that I’d create in my very own kitchen. Since I’m a southern girl, you know that I love the flavor of peaches so this is what prompted this sweet and glorious drink.

It’s become quite a favorite cocktail in our house to sip on at the end of the day. And since it has a little bit of fruit, I like to think of it as having somewhat of a health factor to it as well.

Don’t miss out on this crazy easy recipe for margaritas. It just might be your new favorite sipper.

Ingredients needed to make homemade margaritas

  • 2 cups frozen peaches (fresh and very ripe if you have them)
  • 1 cup Simply Peach juice (or other peach juice)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 2 tbsp. Agave syrup or honey
  • Juice of 2 limes (fresh of course)
  • Coarse kosher salt for garnish
  • Fresh lime slices and peach slices for garnish

How to make Peach Margaritas

In your blender, combine frozen peaches, peach juice, ice, tequila, agave/honey, and like juice. Blend until smooth.

To serve, add a layer of kosher salt to a small saucer. Rim your glasses with juice from a lime and dip into the salt. Pour margaritas and garnish with fresh lime and peach slices.

It’s really as simple as that. You can easily use any type of garnish that you want for this margarita recipe, too!

Can you use fresh peaches instead of frozen?

It’s up to you but I’ve found that the frozen peaches do a really great job of adding that extra coldness and “slushie” texture.

Can I use lemon juice instead of limes?

You bet! Both are interchangeable when it comes to cocktails and other drink recipes. Limes give you a little more of the margarita taste though.

This summer is going to be full of so much flavor with this peach cocktail! I can’t wait to hear what you think!
