Homemade Dog Treats – It’s Time To Treat Your Pup!
Are you ready to stop buying your pup treats at the store and instead make your own at home? These Homemade Dog Treats are so simple and easy to do! Plus, since youโre making them from scratch, you know everything that youโre putting into them which is better for your furry four-legged best friend as well.
What I love most about making my own DIY dog treats is that theyโre ready in no time at all. I can have an entire batch made up before I would even be able to get in my car and drive to the store.
And who can deny those adorable puppy eyes staring up at you just begging for treats? I know that I canโt so this recipe was an instant hit!
Are there ingredients that are harmful to dogs?
While I donโt know all of them, I do know itโs important to not give dogs peanut butter or almond milk that contains xylitol. This is extremely bad for them and will cause harm.
Can I use any type of peanut butter for this recipe?
No, you canโt. I like to use natural peanut butter as this is the best choice for our household but you need to also be aware that you should never give your dogs a low sugar peanut butter that contains sugar alternatives. Stay natural to avoid issues or harm.
How often can my dog have one of these Peanut Butter dog treats?
That is up to you but if you wanted to โtreatโ them to one or two per day, I would assume that it would be fine. Just make certain to monitor them and stop if theyโre having any issues.
