Holiday Deviled Eggs

Sharing is caring!

Maybe it’s a Southern Thing, but almost any holiday table isn’t complete without a plate of Deviled Eggs.  Are they on your table?  Why not decorate them up a bit too with red and green to add a festive touch.

Many don’t have a recipe, or they just make it “like my mother did”.  Maybe Deviled Eggs are the specialty of one of your family members, so make sure to share this recipe and decorating idea with them.

Making Holiday Deviled Eggs

Do you have a recipe?  I don’t have an exact one, but sometimes I do like to add Dijon Mustard as it adds a little tang to them.  Just as it does to Potato Salad

The simplest way I have found to “boil eggs” is in an Air Fryer.  If you are an Air Fryer user, you totally get how handy it is.  Maybe this should be a last-minute gift suggestion.  See a few links below to order from Amazon.

After you check out my post HOW TO BOIL EGGS IN AN AIR FRYER you will be ordering one.

What you need for Holiday Deviled Eggs

This is a very simple recipe to make for anytime, not just the holiday.  Most Deviled Egg recipes have a base of mayonnaise and some type of mustard.

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

A few hints:

No pomegranate – cranberries would be a great substitution.

Have your eggs cooked ahead of time, just be sure to peel them.

Taking them to a dinner?  Prepare the filling and take in a Ziploc bag then complete the eggs there.

Making a larger amount?  Use a mixer for egg yolk mixture.

I always use Smoked Paprika in recipes.

Adjust the recipe for more or less eggs.

Many consider Deviled Eggs as an appetizer so here’s a few more ideas for that too:
