Fall Festivals

Sharing is caring!

One of the best parts of fall as there are so many – are all of the festivals going on.  One of the newest names for these is Barn Sales or Pop Up Sales.  Unfortunately there aren’t any of these around the Chattanooga that I am aware of but several within two hours thankfully.

The Strawberry Patch opens today  but I’m going to have to miss it this time.  I did attend last spring on a cold and rainy day, but what a wonderful show it was.  If any of you are near the Middle Tennessee/Lebanon area this weekend, make sure you check it out.

Bella Rustica was held a few weeks ago on Legacy Farms, again in the Lebanon area.  Not only was this show a top-notch affair, but the setting was just absolutely gorgeous.  They do seem to specialize in catering to weddings as you can see from the “cake” they have built.

I met up with some new friends and bloggers from the area for a fun day of shopping, eating, and getting to know each other.  Hometalk provided us with burlap shopping bags for carrying our treasures.  The summer heat had finally kicked in after a very mild summer, but there was a wonderful café set up for drinks and air-conditioning.  What a welcome relief it was.

A few of the vendors there I had met at The Strawberry Patch in the spring, or through facebook.  It’s always fun to meet people IRL after being “friends” with them for a long time.  Getting to see Jenni Bowlin of jbsmercantile was a pleasure, since I had actually known her for several years back from the scrapbooking world.

Turning Leaf Crafts has the cutest trailer for displaying and traveling of her unique and hand-made items.  City Farmhouse was also there with their truly “finds” of not just vintage, but things seen in farmhouses a hundred years ago.  I can’t wait to attend their “Barn Sale” in October.

Lunch with everyone then off to the Nashville Flea Market with Kathy of Petticoat Junktion.  A great day for all.

I’ve included affiliate links to Amazon for you to find some products easier.  I may receive a small commission, but the price is the same for you.  It just helps my blog out.

Happy Travels,
