Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts
I love eating chicken. What I find so great about chicken is that itโs a super simple meat that can take on so many different flavors. The more that I can grill, the more I like chicken. This recipe is unique in the fact that it has fresh lime juice as well as lime zest. Itโs not often that you get a chicken meal full of so much citrus flavor and taste!
This is why I love to make this for the summer months. Iโll even cut it down into shredded pieces and it makes an amazing chicken taco recipe, too.
Can you marinate chicken for too long?
This is what you have to be aware of when youโre marinating chicken. It does an excellent job of taking on the flavor of the ingredients but there can be too much flavor that it takes on as well.
How do you know when chicken is done cooking on the grill?
You need to use a meat thermometer to find out the internal temperature. Once the internal cooking temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees, that is your signal that itโs done and ready to be pulled.
I highly recommend a meat thermometer for readings so that youโre accurate and not taking a chance of eating undercooked chicken.
