Semi-Homemade Crock Pot Cinnamon Roll Casserole

Itโs even made easier because you use your favorite brand of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. You know โ those in a can.
I can imagine on Christmas Morning or maybe a lazy Saturday, this would be a great recipe to make up to serve all morning long as you enjoy those endless cups of coffee or tea.
Impress your guests (or family), a little caramel sauce drizzled on the plate, drizzle a little more on the cinnamon rolls, then top with toasted pecans. So yummy โ and pretty.
You may be like me and get up earlier than the rest of the house so I can get it made up and cooking before the others crawl out of bed.
Semi-Homemade Cinnamon Roll Cassserole
Ingredients
- 2 cans Cinnamon rolls
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Icing from cinnamon roll packages
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, pour in melted butter & cream
- Stir in eggs
- Add vanilla and cinnamon
- Mix well
- Spray Crock Pot with non-stick spray
- Cut each cinnamon roll into 4’s
- Place the pieces into the crock pot
- Pour egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces
- Stir slightly
- Place lid back onto the crock pot
- Cook on low for 2 1/2-3 hours
- Remove lid and drizzle with frosting.
Notes
To keep moisture from dropping into crock pot, place a thin kitchen towel under lid.
Alternate topping:
Drizzle with caramel sauce and add toasted pecans
