Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese In The Crockpot

I think it’s safe to say that macaroni and cheese is one of those comfort foods that we all know and love. It’s great as a side dish or even as a total meal on its own. This mac and cheese recipe is a bit heartier than others since it has ground beef and pasta mixed in. It has an amazing flavor that is packed full of great ingredients.

Can I keep mac and cheese warm in a crockpot?

You can. Just keep it on the keep warm setting once it’s done cooking. You’ll want to keep an eye on it so it doesn’t dry out but if it starts to look a little dry you can always add in a dab of milk or two to help.

Why does my crockpot mac and cheese curdle?

If you notice that the milk that you added starts to curdle, it just means that you cooked it too long and on too high of a temperature. Keep an eye on the time and temperature to make certain that it doesn’t go bad.

Can you cook uncooked pasta in a crockpot?

You sure can! Just know that there’s a chance that it will come out a little mushy if you cook it too long so you might have some trial and error with this. Check your times and adjust for your crockpot as all cook a bit differently.
