Sparkling Cranberry Orange Ginger Punch

The one thing that every holiday dinner need are to be certain that they have a delicious punch for all their guests. If you’re ready for a light and refreshing drink, this punch recipe is simple and easy to do and tastes great as well. 

Can I still use my cranberry juice that has sugar in it?

You can but just know that it’s going to be sweeter. You might want to omit that added honey if that is the case. 

Taste test it and see what you think. If you need to add in more sweetness at that time, do so. It’s an easy solution to your question and you can alter it to whatever you want.

Can you make this drink without alcohol?

You can. Just omit it and that’s all you’ll have to do. It’s still certain to have a wonderful taste and flavor. 

Ingredients needed for this Cranberry Orange Ginger Punch

  • ¼ cup of fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped or minced**
  • 1 cup of unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1 cup of fresh orange juice (approximately 3 large oranges)
  • 1 large lime, sliced
  • 1 large orange, sliced
  • ½ cup of fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 cups of club soda, chilled*
  • Optional: 2-3 Tablespoons of honey
  • Optional: Additional orange slices and/or fresh cranberries, for garnish

    * Add an additional 1 cups chilled club soda for non-alcoholic version
    ** If you like a lighter ginger taste, use only 3 Tablespoons to start

Adults-Only Version (Optional):

½ cup of chilled vodka
½ cup of ginger beer

How to Make this Cranberry Orange Ginger Punch

  1. Add the ginger, unsweetened cranberry juice, orange juice, lime slices, orange slices, and cranberries to a large non-reactive bowl and gently press with a potato masher or wooden spoon to release the juices. Stir to combine and place in the refrigerator to chill for a few hours. 
  2. Remove from refrigerator and strain to remove solids, squeezing out excess liquid from the sliced fruit in the process. Discard solids and transfer remaining liquid to a large pitcher.  
  3. Add chilled club soda (and vodka, if using) and stir to combine. Taste and stir in the honey to sweeten, if desired.  
  4. Serve immediately over ice.
