Easy Cookies and Cream Cupcakes with Oreos
Are you a fan of cupcakes? If so, youโre not going to want to miss out on these Easy Cookies and Cream Cupcakes with Oreos! Theyโre packed full of so much flavor and taste that youโre literally not going to want to stop.
Iโm a fan of all types of cupcakes but these are some of my favorites. I just love the whipped frosting and crushed up cookie bits because together, theyโre perfectly combined.
Trust me on this oneโฆthis is one cupcake recipe that youโre going to want to make as soon as you possibly can!
What other types of frosting would go well with these cupcakes?
While I prefer my HOMEMADE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING, using a can of whipped frosting makes it super easy. A good cream cheese frosting would also work well for this recipe. And in all reality, change up the frosting flavors and see what you think. All frosting is delicious and itโs a fun way to bring new life to your cupcakes, too.
Plus my homemade buttercream can be made up a day or two ahead and stored in the refrigerator until you are ready for it.
How do you store these cupcakes once baked?
I always put my cupcakes in a sealed container and keep them in the fridge. This is the best way to keep them as moist as possible for as long as possible.
If you donโt like your cupcakes chilled, just remove and let it set out to get to room temperature.
Can you freeze these cupcakes for later?
You sure can. I always freeze my cupcakes without the frosting on them and then make that fresh (or buy it) and put that on later when Iโm going to eat them.
